Laya

Laya is a beautiful cat with a lovely personality and plenty of affection to share. This sweet girl enjoys spending time with her people and actively seeks out human company once she feels comfortable in her surroundings. It can take Laya a little time to warm up to new faces, but once she does, her affectionate nature truly shines. She loves attention, purrs contentedly, and is a champion biscuit-maker! Laya is a confident cat who enjoys being fussed, although loud noises can occasionally startle her and send her off to find a quiet hiding spot. Fortunately, her confidence soon returns, and she's never away for long before reappearing for more fuss and attention. Sadly, Laya previously suffered an injury which resulted in her tail being amputated. She has adapted brilliantly and doesn't let this hold her back in any way. Laya is looking for a calm adult-only home where she can feel safe and secure. She would like to be the only pet in the home and, in return, promises to reward her new family with lots of love, purrs, and companionship. Her previous home was in a quiet residential area with access to green space behind.

Nala

Nala is a beautiful girl looking for a quiet relaxed home. Nala was understandably very worried when she first arrived but once given a chance to settle and she felt safe, her lovely personality began to shine through. Although she can still be a little shy when faced with new people or unfamiliar situations, Nala enjoys human company, likes being talked to, and will happily seek out affection from people she trusts. She may even curl up on your lap for a short cuddle when the mood takes her. Nala also enjoys playing and has a fun, playful side that emerges as her confidence grows. She likes a quiet and calm environment so is looking for a peaceful home with no other pets, and where she can enjoy a predictable routine and plenty of quiet spots to relax. This could be with calm understanding children. Nala previously received treatment for a small ulcer on her lip, which has healed well and is not causing any ongoing problems. If you're looking for a gentle companion who will reward your patience with affection and companionship, Nala could be the perfect addition to your family.

Beau

Beau is a beautiful girl with a big personality and plenty of energy! Active and playful, she loves interactive games and enjoys keeping herself busy. Her scratching post is a firm favourite, and she's always ready for an opportunity to play and explore. Confident and sociable, Beau enjoys human company, lap time and likes to be involved in day-to-day life. However, she can become overstimulated when receiving attention and may occasionally nip when she's had enough. Because of this, Beau needs owners who can recognise her signals and respect her boundaries, allowing her to interact on her own terms. Beau is currently receiving pain relief for mild arthritis, which is helping to keep her comfortable and active. Beau is looking for a home where she can be the only pet and receive all the attention for herself. She would be best suited to an adult-only home or one with older, cat-savvy teenagers.

Milo

Milo is a handsome boy looking for a loving home. He is incredibly affectionate and enjoys lots of fuss, attention and human company. He loves to be close to his people, greeting them with a roll onto his back, plenty of kneading and even the occasional dribble of contentment. While Milo can be a little shy in new environments and isn't keen on loud noises, he soon grows in confidence in a calm, quiet home. He enjoys playtime and has a particularly enthusiastic reaction to catnip. Gentle and well-mannered, he's happy to be groomed. Milo has previously lived with a dog and may be able to do so again with slow, careful introductions. He would be best suited to a home with older children or adults only, where he can relax and enjoy the affection he loves so much. Having previously lived in a more rural location, Milo is looking for a home away from busy roads where he can safely explore outdoors once settled.

Poppy

Poppy is a beautiful, confident youngster whose favourite thing in the world is people. She absolutely adores human company and wants to be involved in everything you're doing, keen to be the centre of your world. Poppy is incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than being close to her people. She enjoys cuddles and will often snuggle right into your chest, soaking up as much attention and affection as possible. She actively seeks out company and isn't shy about asking for fuss when she feels she's not getting enough! Her love for people can currently get the better of her - When she's excited or eager for attention, Poppy may mouth gently or reach out with a paw to tap or swipe in an attempt to keep the interaction going. This isn't done with malice, but because she's such a people-focused girl who can become a little overstimulated in the moment. Poppy would be best suited to a home with older children (10+), or an adult-only home, where her enthusiasm and body language will be understood as she continues to learn. In return, she promises unwavering companionship, plenty of cuddles, and all the love a devoted cat could give. It is unknown if she has lived with other cats before, but with her desire to be No 1 cat, we suspect she would prefer to be the only cat!

Solitaire

Solitaire is a gentle soul looking for a quiet, patient home where she can blossom at her own pace. Having come to us from a multi-cat household via the RSPCA, we don't think Solitaire has had much opportunity to enjoy being the centre of attention. Since arriving in our care, she has taken time to build her confidence, but with patience and kindness she has shown us that she is beginning to trust and appreciate the people around her, most recently enjoying some interactive play with her toys which has been a delight to see. Solitaire is the sort of cat who will need adopters willing to let her settle at her own speed, giving her the time and space she needs to feel safe. In return, we feel it will be incredibly rewarding to watch her confidence grow and see her true personality emerge. While in our care we have found that Solitaire does have a sensitive tummy which is not unusual when coming from her background, and she does best on a dry food diet. If you have a peaceful home and the patience to help a shy cat discover just how loved she can be, we feel Solitaire could be just the cat you are looking for.
